2. Description of Service
ProfitLayer provides a multi-platform marketplace profit calculator tool that helps sellers estimate their potential profit after fees on platforms including Etsy, eBay, Shopify, Poshmark, and Depop. The Service is offered in Free and paid Pro/Team tiers.
3. Disclaimer of Accuracy
All calculations provided by ProfitLayer are estimates only. Platform fees, payment processing rates, and other costs change frequently. ProfitLayer does not guarantee the accuracy of any calculation result. Always verify fees directly with the respective marketplace before making business decisions. ProfitLayer is not responsible for any financial decisions made based on calculator outputs.
4. User Accounts
To access Pro or Team features, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. ProfitLayer is not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized account access.
5. Subscriptions and Payments
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected at checkout. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the next billing cycle. All payments are processed securely via Stripe. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact us within 7 days of a charge if you believe a refund is warranted.
6. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to: (a) attempt to reverse-engineer or scrape the Service; (b) use the Service for any illegal purpose; (c) share account credentials; (d) introduce malware or disruptive code; (e) impersonate any person or entity.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, design, code, and brand assets of ProfitLayer are the exclusive property of ProfitLayer and its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without express written permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ProfitLayer and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to any claim.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify registered users via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
